New York City-based artist sweet93, the musical moniker of guitarist and vocalist Chloe, has just dropped her latest single, ‘what’s true?’—a mesmerizing shoegaze track that blends lush melodies with introspective lyricism.
Known for her unique ability to evoke raw emotion through atmospheric soundscapes, sweet93 continues to push her project into new realms of sonic depth with this release. ‘what’s true?,’ serves as a cathartic exploration of reality, enveloping the listener in swirling guitar riffs and dreamlike textures.
Chloe explains the personal journey behind the song:
“‘what’s true?’ changed shape several times before I realized what I was actually trying to say. I spent days in my room trying to tell some version of a story, when in reality I was struggling with understanding reality at all… Lately, I’ve been filled with more questions than answers, like when nothing is real and no one’s around – what’s actually true?”
