Dream Nails have kickstarted their latest era with the release of euphoric break-up anthem ‘Control’.
The first new music from the band since 2023 album ‘Doom Loop’, it sees Dream Nails return with a fresh line-up.

Speaking on what the track respresnts for the band going forward, drummer Lucy Katz has shared:
“As Dream Nails enters its third phase as a classic power trio, it’s the perfect time to share ‘Control’ with the world.
“Our bassist, Mimi, is now on lead vocals while continuing to bass-slay. Seeing her take vocals in her stride is genuinely inspiring and is pushing our musicianship further than we ever thought we could go. We’ve found a new energy.”
Bassist Mimi Jasson has also given more of an insight into the creation of ‘Control’, saying:
“Our new track is about understanding why people might stay in an unhealthy relationship for too long… The lyrics reflect ‘there’s good in bad and bad in the good’. Things are never simple; we wanted that nuance to come across.
“We had the pleasure of recording ‘Control’ at the Marshall Studio with producer Adrian Bushby, who’s recorded with some of our heroes like the Foo Fighters and Spice Girls… We asked him to regale us with stories from the golden era recording ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Who Do You Think You Are’, and then we channelled a bit of that spice into the track.”
To celebrate the start of their new era, Dream Nails are set to play an intimate London show at The Grace on October 08 – with tickets available via the band’s official site.
