State Champs have unveiled the music video for anthemic single ‘Light Blue’, taken from their forthcoming self-titled album.
With the album set for release on November 08 via Pure Noise Records, it’s the third track released from the collection, following recent singles ‘Too Late To Say’ and the punchy ‘Silver Cloud’.
Take a listen to ‘Light Blue’ via its summer-soaked video below.
On the new track, the band have shared:
“Have you ever been transported back in time, for better or for worse, simply by the smell of something or someone? Inspired by Dan & Shay’s “Tequila,” we put our energetic spin on this concept with “Light Blue.” It’s a light-hearted track that reminiscences and rollercoasters between airy, bouncy guitars and pop arrangements to a full-blown fuzzed-out chorus that will have you banging your head in between memories you didn’t ask to be dug back up.”
State Champs recently announced that they will hit the road across the UK in early 2025 with support from The Home Team and Broadside.
