Deftones frontman Chino Moreno made a surprise appearance with The Smashing Pumpkins yesterday (September 25) as the band performed the classic ‘Jellybelly’.
The Smashing Pumpkins are currently opening up for Green Day on their North American tour and in Providence Park, Portland, they were joined by Moreno for a run through of the ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’ track.

The Smashing Pumpkins released their latest album ‘Aghori Mhori Mei’ in August while Deftones recently performed a huge show alongside System Of A Down in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
Green Day will play the final night of the US ‘Saviors’ tour in Petco Park, San Diego on September 28, joined by The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas.
