Scorpions have announced a 2025 Las Vegas residency celebrating the German rock legends’ 60th anniversary.
The band is set to play five dates at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the same venue that hosted the band’s previous Vegas residencies earlier this year and in 2022. Buckcherry will support the dates, taking place February 27th and March 1st, 6th, 8th, and 11th.
A Live Nation ticket pre-sale begins Thursday (September 26th) at 10 a.m. PT using the code SETLIST. General ticket sales start Saturday (September 28th) at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
“There couldn‘t be a better way than to start 2025 in Las Vegas with another residency at Planet Hollywood,” stated singer Klaus Meine via the band’s press release. “Come and celebrate with us our 60th anniversary and catch a rockin‘ good time… we gonna sting yaaaa!!!”
While Scorpions wouldn’t rise to fame until the 1970s, the group was formed all the way back in 1965 by a young Rudolf Schenker and originally had a British Invasion-influenced sound. Rudolf eventually teamed up with his brother Michael Schenker and Klaus Meine in 1970, as the German band’s classic brand of hard rock/heavy metal began to take shape.
As mentioned, the upcoming residency will see Scorpions returning to the Hollywood Resort & Casino after celebrating the 40th anniversary of Love at First Sting with a residency there earlier this year. Back in 2022, Scorpions also held there “Sin City Nights” residency at the resort and casino.
