DUA Lipa has ignored the backlash she’s received over her tour tickets as she posed in red hot pants and tights and told fans she’s “so happy.”
The 29-year-old Grammy Award winner is set to embark on her Radical Optimism World Tour in 2025.
The Houdini singer is heading across the world with her new show, starting in Singapore in November and running through to October 2025.
But as fans scrambled to bag themselves tickets, the chaos that came with it has been coined the “worst ever” by some Dua fans.
Fans have become the latest to fall victim to Ticketmaster demand struggle, with long queues, prices being hiked, and the site crashing before purchase can be completed.
In an even bigger sting, the One Kiss singer’s adoring fans were left fuming that resale tickets at a jacked-up price were already being put on sale.
But while some fans expressed their frustration, Dance The Night singer Dua looked happier than ever as she made a new announcement on Friday night.
Dua penned: “WUUUURLTOOOOUR IS ON SALE NOW!!! + we added some more shows for ya during the presale ❤ ! so happy…I COULD POP! ~ swipe to see the dates.”
The singing sensation shared several photos, including one where she threw her arms to the side in a red buttoned shirt and hot pants, which she partnered with tights.
Dua looked delighted as she posed outdoors with her mouth wide open, and in another the star snapped a mirror selfie while wearing an oversized white shirt and grey top.
She also shared behind-the-scenes snaps from her tour, while sitting on the floor clutching a microphone and another surrounded by her backing dancers.
The final slide in Dua’s photo dump saw her standing in a fur coat with her many tour dates written either side of her.
The Radical Optimism tour has already been confirmed for a staggering 68 dates across the globe, with the promise of more being announced in the near future.
The dates currently include two dates in Ireland, two in Liverpool and two in London – adding to a growing roster of live music coming to UK shores next year.
Beyoncé is believed to be planning a tour, as well as the staggering Oasis reunion tour.
Billie Eilish, Usher and Sabrina Carpenter are booked to play UK arena shows too.
“The boost to the economy is going to be phenomenal,” a source told The Sun.
“This is what the public needs right now — something to look forward to.”
