Mac Sabbath are keeping their 10th anniversary celebration going with a newly announced leg of fall North American tour dates. The band that puts a humorous fast-food spin on classic Black Sabbath songs will hit the road once again in November.
The new round of dates kicks off November 9th at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles, and runs through a November 24th show in Bend, Oregon. The primarily West Coast jaunt makes stops in San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland, among other cities.
Tickets to select shows are currently available via Ticketmaster, while others can be found via the band’s website. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
The Los Angeles show will include support from Guttermouth, The Angry Samoans, and Sugarmill Slim, while the rest of the tour will feature support from Supersuckers.
News of the fall dates comes as Mac Sabbath wrap up their summer US tour. That outing has a few gigs left, concluding with a September 21st show in Dallas.
Mac Sabbath perform parodies of Black Sabbath tunes with the lyrics changed to reflect fast-food themes, include such songs as “Sweet Beef” (instead of “Sweet Leaf”), “Frying Pan” (“Iron Man”), and “Pair-a-Buns” (“Paranoid”). They also put similar twists on tunes by KISS, Motörhead, and more.
The band features frontman Ronald Osborne, along with Slayer MacCheeze, Grimalice, and the Cat Burglar.
