Georgia-born Sutton Foster has scooped two Tony Awards in her prestigious Broadway career as well as a nomination for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress In A Musical.

She has also clocked up a host of Broadway performances for roles in shows including Little Women, Grease, Shrek the Musical, Movie Man and Violet.

The mum-of-one has starred on the small-screen, too, with her first TV roles in comedies Bunheads, Younger and Flight of the Conchords.

Sutton also featured on US reality series Say Yes To The Dress in 2022 and, while she thought she had found the perfect frock, her pals likened her look to a “napkin.”

Through her career she has kept her signature brunette locks and fresh-faced look.

Videos on Sutton’s Instagram page show she’s a keen fitness fan, with the star recently donning a skin-fit leotard for a “stronger than her show” fitness challenge.

She went completely make-up free, with her hair tied in a top knot, as she oozed her youthful glow

it came after she bagged the role of Princess Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress, which is running at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre until November, before transferring to Los Angeles in December.

Sutton told how she had the blessing of Carol Burnett to play the iconic role in the comedy and told TheBroadWayShowTV: “I would watch the Carol Burnett Show and The Muppet Show.

“In my mind, they were both on the same night, and I would watch them back to back.

“I always say I am part muppet, part Carol Burnett.

“She just always has been a role model for me so meeting her was surreal.”

Fans were just as impressed with her performance with one commenting on Instagram: “I saw it last night (my first Broadway show ever) and you were INCREDIBLE.”

A second put: “I saw it recently. Sutton was great. It was a true joy to watch.

“The entire cast was special and exceptional!!!! Go everybody!!!!!”
