SISTER Wives star Meri Brown has shown off her recent weight loss in a new promotional video for her TLC series.
Her new look comes just days before the Season 19 premiere of Sister Wives on Sunday, showing the months following her divorce from Kody Brown, 55.

In a new TLC promotional video, Meri, 53, was seen talking about the “life-changing” new season of her blended family’s show.
Kody’s first wife wore a silky, short-sleeve button-up top as she spoke to fans.
Meri’s body appeared noticeably slimmer in the garment, and her face looked skinnier than fans remember from TV.
She also had her highlighted blond hair styled down in a side part, falling just above her shoulders and framing her now-chiseled face.

POST-DIVORCE GLOW-UP
Fans commented on her weight loss on Reddit, and some thought her divorce from Kody helped aid in her new look.
“Divorce does a body good,” one fan wrote.
“It’s the 180 lbs of fool that hits different and makes the impact when removed lol,” a second wrote.
“Wow she looks so skinny, look at her chiseled cheekbones!” a third noticed
“She started looking refreshed and better after she officially gave up on Kody,” a fourthnoted.
“She looks happy. She definitely has a thinner face…guess she lost a few pounds in addition to the 180 pounds she lost when she dumped Kody,” said a fifth.
“She’s on that divorce diet. Divorced people often lose weight and gain their sense of self when they exit terrible marriage,” another said.
Others thought Meri’s weight loss could have been due to taking the Hollywood-obsessed weight loss drug Ozempic.
Some also noted that Meri has been an ambassador of Plexus for years, a wellness supplement that aids in losing weight.
While a few theories swirled around, Sister Wives fans still noted how Kody’s original three wives appeared to have a “glow up” after their divorces.

Along with Meri, Kody was previously married to wives Christine, 52, and Janelle, 55.
Both have also been showing off their slimmer figures lately, with Christine having fans question her diet method after sharing a video at the end of August.
In the clip, Christine opened up about her weight loss and accredited multiple Plexus products to her success.
The TLC star has also moved on romantically since her divorce from Kody and married David Woolley in October 2023.

Meri was Kody’s first wife, marrying the polygamist in 1990.
The two legally divorced in 2014 so he could marry Robyn and adopt her children from her first marriage.
While Meri and Kody stayed together after the divorce, their rocky relationship ended in January 2023.
The decision came after Christine announced she was leaving her “spiritual” husband in November 2021, and Janelle announced her separation from Kody in 2022.
Meri and Kody’s separation was documented in the last episode of Season 18, which aired at the end of December.
The two share one child together, Leon, 29.

The trailer for Season 19 of the family’s reality series was released earlier this summer.

The trailer starts with Meri telling her former sisters’ wives that her relationship with Kody is officially over.
It then introduces Christine’s new man, David, as Kody and his last-standing wife question what happened to their blended family.
“This was not the way it was supposed to go” Robyn says, while Kody questions what he “did to deserve this” and “what he did wrong.”
The trailer shows heated moments between Kody and Robyn, who said she “feels like the idiot that got left behind.”
A source exclusively told The U. S. Sun in August that Robyn could soon leave Kody due to his “controlling” and “hostile” behavior.
“Robyn and Kody are not doing well. They have been very unhappy,” the source explained.

“I mean, they’ve been unhappy since everything fell apart, but even more so now, it’s getting worse.”
The source claimed Robyn has been dealing with Kody being “angrier” than he was in the past.
“He’s just really mad at the world right now. He’s not who he used to be at all,” they said.
“He’s completely changed. He’s angry and he’s volatile, and he doesn’t like anybody that’s not worshiping him.”
The insider said Kody has been “controlling so much of her life,” leading Robyn into a “submissive” stance.
While Robyn used to be more social, the source claimed the reality star no longer visits friends or talks on the phone.
The new Sister Wives season premieres on Sunday, September 15 on TLC.
