The Sunday Times had previously reported that Kate was considering making a public appearance, with hopes of joining her husband William, King Charles, and other members of the royal family at the annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony in November at the Cenotaph memorial in Whitehall, London.

The occasion, which honors fallen service members, is a prominent fixture on the royal calendar, and if she does attend, it would mark a notable public return for the Princess of Wales.

However, there are currently no confirmed dates for Kate’s resumption of royal duties, and she is not scheduled to join Prince William for the Earthshot Prize awards in Cape Town in early November.

The publication also mentioned that preparations have begun for Kate’s annual holiday carol concert in December, an event she has hosted for the last three years.

Kate began chemotherapy in February after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. She announced her cancer diagnosis in March and has kept a low profile since.

In June, she released a touching statement alongside a portrait of her in Windsor. She also made a rare appearance at the Trooping the Colour parade in honor of the King.

In July, feeling well, Kate attended Wimbledon with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa Middleton. In August, she and William also recorded a video to support athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

While no date has been set for her return to full public duties, those close to the palace emphasize the importance of Kate not feeling pressured.

A source told People, “It’s good not to feel under pressure and just take her time and have slow days if she needs to.”
