MOLLY-MAE Hague was desperate to “try for a second baby” with Tommy Fury before their shock split, it’s claimed.
The former Love Islanders, who met on the fifth series of the ITV show in 2019, had been together for five years before she dumped him for allegedly cheating on her.
Molly-Mae kicked the pro boxer out of their £3.8million mansion in Cheshire after confronting him about his “infidelity”.
Now a source close to the pair – who share daughter Bambi, 1 – has reportedly revealed they had been hoping to try for baby number two.
They had even gone as far as postponing their wedding day in case she fell pregnant, it’s claimed.
Speaking to Closer magazine, the source said: “The heartbreaking fact of it is that Molly-Mae and Tommy were hoping to try for a second baby this summer.
“They’d been through a rough patch and agreed that adding to their family was really important to both of them, so they’d secretly postponed their wedding plans in the hope they’d have another child in 2025.”
The Sun has reached out to Molly’s rep for comment.
Back in June, when rumours of trouble in their marriage started swirling, Molly-Mae had told fans in an Instagram Q&A that baby number two wouldn’t be “anytime soon” as they would be focusing on their wedding first.
While the source confirmed the influencer had been left “broken” by the split, they said: “While of course a baby would have been a blessing, after all that’s come out, Molly is actually relieved she didn’t fall pregnant.
“There is understandably a sense of added heartache knowing she and Tommy won’t be able to give Bambi a sibling though.
“Not to mention her shattered dreams of having a big family together like they’d always planned.”
Last week a fresh-faced Molly-Mae took to her YouTube channel to update her 1.9m followers.
She said: “I’m coming back to you guys for kind of a normal vlog…a lot of you will want me to sit down and talk about what’s gone on over the last couple weeks and spill the tea, but that was never something that was going to happen.”
She then told fans about her eagerly-anticipated launch, saying: “My heart and soul have gone into this…every single bit of my passion and my energy – everything has been going into this project.”
And while she admitted the forthcoming launch “wasn’t ideal timing” with everything else that was going on behind the scenes, she said: “There is no chance I have worked as hard on this, for as long as I have for it not to happen…in every way I want it to.”
With an Instagram launch set for the 8 September and subsequent launch on 21 September, she admitted it had been a “huge distraction” given recent events.
She said: “I am so freaking excited!”
