Crazy P singer Danielle Moore, 52, dies in ‘tragic and sudden’ circumstances as group shares heartbreaking tribute

THE iconic singer from band Crazy P has died in “tragic and sudden circumstances”.

Danielle Moore’s “unbelievable and shocking” death was confirmed by the noughties Brit group on Monday.

The 52-year-old, who was well-known for being the lead vocalist in the electronic group, passed away on Friday.

The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

In an Instagram post today, remaining members of Crazy P, Jim Baron, Chris Todd, Tim Davies and Matt Klose, paid tribute to their “beautiful” band member and said “our hearts are broken”.

They wrote: “We are devastated to announce the unbelievable and shocking news that our beautiful Danielle Moore has died in sudden and tragic circumstances.

“This happened on Friday afternoon August 30th.

“We cannot believe the news ourselves and we know it will be the same for all of you.

“She gave us so much and we love her so much. Our hearts are broken.

“We need time to process that this has happened.

“Danielle lived a life driven by love compassion community and music. She lived the biggest of lives. We will miss her with all our hearts X.”

Fellow musicians and celebrities sent their well-wishes after hearing the news.

Founder of Defected Records and Ibiza event Glitterbox Simon Dunmore wrote: “This is so incredibly sad to read. Sending much love to all Danielle’s friends and family.”

House Gospel Choir added: “This is such shocking and sad news. Heartbroken for the whole team.

“Rest in perfect peace Danielle.”

Record label Defected Records added: “Truly devastated. Sending love to you all.”

Crazy P first formed in 1995 with Manchester-born Danielle joining in the 2000s.
