How to buy Oasis tickets: Exact prices, release date, how to maximise your chances and mistakes to avoid

OASIS will reunite for a string of shows next summer – 16 years after the Gallagher brothers broke up the band.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to get your hands on the highly sought-after tickets and how much they’ll cost.

When do Oasis tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin go on sale on the morning of Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am, while tickets for the Ireland shows drop an hour earlier at 8am.

Oasis revealed on August 26, 2024, that none of their reunion performances will be televised.

This means that your only chance to see the biggest reunion of the century is to get your hands on a ticket.

How much do Oasis tickets cost?

Most of the Oasis standing tickets will start at £135 (£151 with fees), while seated tickets start at around £65 (£73 with fees).

And, fans wanting the Champagne Supernova experience will be able to splash out on seats in the hospitality area, which start at £250 (£268 including fees).

Please note, prices vary at different venues on the tour.

Does a ballot code guarantee you a ticket to the Oasis concert?

Fans were able to increase their chances of getting tickets for the Oasis Live ’25 tour through a pre-sale ballot, however this is now closed.

Those lucky enough to win a place in the ballot have been sent an access code to get their tickets before anyone else.

These codes were released at 12pm on August 30, 2024.

Fans who have been successful in the ballot have been notified by email and have from 7pm until 10pm to pre-order tickets.

They are only allowed to buy up to four tickets per access code.

But, just like the general ticket sale, the access code to pre-sale tickets doesn’t guarantee you’ll get one.

You will still be put in a queue and will only be able to purchase tickets if they haven’t sold out by the time its your turn.

Top tips for getting Oasis tickets and mistakes to avoid when buying them

You can buy tickets for the UK dates from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com.

Dublin tickets will be available on the same day from www.ticketmaster.ie.

To stand the best chance of being successful in your quest to buy Oasis tickets, do your best not to make any of the following errors:

• Waiting until Saturday morning to register — set up your account with the supplier ahead of them going on sale
• Leaving your account unverified — a phone number and passcode will need to be set up
• Assuming your old account is active — if you already have an account, double check it is still working, billing info is accurate and saved, and that you can remember the password
• Poor internet connection — ensure your internet signal is strong
• Low batteries — check that the devices you are using are plugged in or fully charged
• Refreshing the page while in the waiting room — ticketing sites use a queuing system when they are busy and warn that refreshing won’t move you up the line (the page updates automatically, so once in the queue it’s advisable to just wait and keep your fingers crossed)

Who is in Oasis?

Oasis has had its fair share of band members over the years.

While the full line-up for the upcoming tour hasn’t been revealed yet, three legends are nailed on to perform.

The group announced their epic comeback on X/Twitter with a cheeky clip of Noel and Liam Gallagher kissing, both of whom will certainly be taking to the stage.

Guitarist Bonehead can also be seen in the 90-second video of past gigs — and it was confirmed he will join the band’s hugely anticipated 14-date tour.

The group began with five members when they formed in 1991.

Along with Liam and Noel Gallagher, the original line-up was:

Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan

Bassist Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan is the co-founder of Oasis, which was originally called The Rain.

Liam Gallagher was then brought in to replace Chris Hutton on lead vocals and then Noel joined as guitarist and songwriter.

Guigsy left the band in 2004, and has kept out of the spotlight ever since.

Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs

Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs was also a co-founder of the band.

The guitarist played a crucial role during the band’s early years, and even played the piano on the their landmark albums, including (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.

Paul shocked fans when he left Oasis in 1999 during the recording of their fourth album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.

Tony McCarroll

Tony McCarroll was the original drummer in Oasis having joined in the 1980s when they were still known as The Rain.

During his time with the group he contributed to the band’s debut album Definitely Maybe (1994).

His time with Oasis came to an abrupt end in 1995, when he fell out with Noel.

Alan White

After Tony left the band he was replaced by Alan White.

Although he wasn’t an original member, he is regarded as one because he joined the band in 1995.

Alan stayed with group until 2004.

When Bonehead and Guigsy left the band they were replaced by Gem Archer and Andy Bell in 1999.

White was replaced by Zac Starkey in 2004, who was then succeeded by Chris Sharrock in 2008.

Following Oasis’ split in 2009, the remaining members of the band formed Beady Eye with Liam Gallagher, which disbanded in 2014.

As of August 30, 24, it is not known who will join Liam, Noel and Bonehead on tour next year.

Who will support Oasis on their 2025 tour?

Support acts for the Oasis Live ’25 tour haven’t been confirmed yet.

Blossoms had one of the teaser dates both Liam and Noel shared on social media pop up at their Wythenshawe Park, Manchester gig on Sunday, August 25 — so it looks like they might have secured a spot.

Fans online have suggested Noel’s respect for Kneecap, the Irish hip-hop act, could see them performing at the Croke Park dates.

Other rumours include Liam’s son Gene‘s band Villanelle, Kasabian and Richard Ashcroft appearing.
