During a chat with People Magazine, Sánchez opened up about her low-key and cozy life with her fiancé, emphasizing how they cherish their quiet evenings together.

“My favorite time is when the house is calm and quiet, and Jeff and I are deciding what show we’re going to binge that night,” she said.

The Emmy-winning former news anchor admitted that they sometimes find themselves at an impasse over what to watch, saying: “It takes a little bit of time to decide. You can imagine our tastes are a little different. But I love our TV time, we just have the best time.”

She continued, “We recently saw ‘Baby Reindeer,’ which of course everyone saw. ‘Fallout’ was also so good. We also just finished Presumed Innocent, which was incredible,” adding, “Oh, and we loved ‘Severance.'”

Sánchez and Bezoz recently returned to the US after a romantic Italian getaway. On their getaway, the couple, who have been engaged since last year, was spotted sharing a kiss at Rome’s Trevi Fountain before making a wish.

The lovebirds also had the privilege of meeting Pope Francis, an experience Sánchez described as “deeply touching” due to the Pope’s “wisdom, warmth, and humor.”

Before their trip to Rome, the couple began their summer vacation in Greece with Kim Kardashian, cruising through the Mediterranean and up to Italy.

In the coming weeks, Sánchez’s nightly routine with Bezos will be paused as she embarks on a book tour for her children’s book “The Fly Who Flew to Space.”

Sánchez, who shares 23-year-old Nikko Gonzales with retired football player Tony Gonzales and Evan and Ella with her ex-husband, top Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, admitted that she is “so thrilled my kids get to see me do this because they encouraged me to write this for years and I finally made it happen. The journey wasn’t easy, but I’m really excited for people to meet Flynn on the fly.”

The book tells the story of Flynn, a fly who struggles in school but dreams of becoming an astronaut.

Sánchez has openly discussed her own battle with dyslexia, revealing how her world transformed after being diagnosed in college and learning “how to learn.”

The former news anchor relates this experience to her book, saying, “That’s really kind of the moral of the story. It’s okay, if you’re a little different, you’re going to be okay. This world is going to eventually take care of you if you just stay curious.”

Reflecting on her journey, she added, “Never in a million years did I think a dyslexic kid from Albuquerque would ever be an author.”

She Got The Idea For The Story While Flying With Her Kids

Sánchez shared that a real-life experience inspired the story in her children’s book.

“I was flying with my kids and a fly somehow got into the cockpit of the plane. My kids were like, ‘Oh no, this poor little fly is separated from his family!’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, she gets to see the world from a completely different perspective,'” Sánchez recalled.

“So that sparked this fun story in my mind, that even the smallest among us can experience incredible adventures,” she added.
