Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will leave Salem, so he’ll tell Steve Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) goodbye as Lucas Adams exits DOOL.
Although Tripp still loves Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), he knows part of her still loves Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and perhaps always will.
That’s why despite putting his own life on the line to save Allie, Tripp knew he had to move on.
Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) brought Tripp back from the dead, so now Tripp has to make the most of the second chance he’s been given.
Tripp wants to find love and build a life with someone, but he also wants that someone to be able to offer her whole heart.
Of course, the dating pool in Salem is pretty limited, so it’s probably best for Tripp to go elsewhere if he wants to find his happily ever after.
Plus, Tripp may feel like he needs a fresh start overall.
There’s a good chance Tripp will find it in Seattle since that’s where his siblings are.
Adams will reprise the role of Tripp in Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem this July along with Tanner Stine, who’ll play a recast Joey Johnson.
Abigail Klein will also take over the role of Stephanie Johnson – and we already know Joey went to work with Stephanie out in Seattle when he made his own departure from Salem.
The official description for Beyond Salem’s second chapter reveals that Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will make a surprise visit to their children in Seattle.
In other words, what’s happening on Beyond Salem later this summer offers some hints about Tripp’s more immediate future on Days.
It’s possible Tripp will simply meet his family there for this reunion, but it sounds more like Tripp will take a job at a Seattle hospital and live near Joey as well as Stephanie.
That way, Steve can drop in on all his kids when he takes this trip with Kayla, who’ll be thrilled to see her son, daughter and stepson.
Whatever the case, the point is Tripp will decide to leave Salem and will tell Steve along with Ava goodbye.
Tripp’s parents will be sad to see him go, but they’ll no doubt support his big decision.
It looks like Tripp’s final airdate will be on June 15, but we’ll still see Tripp in Beyond Salem – and that makes it a little easier to bid Lucas Adams farewell!
Days spoilers say Tripp will go after a new beginning, so don’t miss what’s in store.
