Jack White Unveils New Reverb Pedal via Third Man Hardware

Jack White has carved out time during his ongoing tour to bring some new gear to the market through his Third Man Hardware company. Developed in collaboration with Anasounds, the La Grotte analog pedal is now available for pre-order in both standard black and limited edition yellow via Reverb.

The pedal has separate volume controls for direct sound and reverb sound to attain the ideal mix, no matter what genre the user is playing. It also features a three-spring design and two-band EQ that only affects the reverb itself.

“It’s been a lifetime of searching for a small real spring reverb effect unit that could be used as a stomp box on stage or in the studio,” Jack White said of the product. “The hang up is that you normally have to use really long springs to get a good sound, making the unit too large. With the La Grotte pedal, it was the addition of the third spring that really brought this sound alive.”

White is currently celebrating his new album, No Name, with a highly unique tour designed with small clubs, backyards, and select venues in mind. Grab tickets for the currently announced shows here, and read our review of his Washington, D.C. stop at the 9:30 Club.
