We got an official first look at Glen Powell in character as Chad Powers, the titular character he’s playing in his new Hulu series.
The 35-year-old actor co-created the new half-hour comedy with Michael Waldron. The pair are also executive producing alongside Eli Manning, who created the original ESPN+ sketch that Chad Powers is based on.
This week, we got a first glimpse at Glen on set. On Thursday (August 22), Hulu released a first official photo of his very different look for the series.

Glen is wearing a long, shaggy blonde wig for the project and what appears to be a prosthetic nose. He finished off the look with a bit of scruff on his upper lip.
Here’s an official synopsis of the show: “When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.”
