Chipotle IQ is back, the game that could win you free burritos for a year if your knowledge of the brand is up to scratch.

What’s better than a burrito? A free burrito. Through the Chipotle IQ game, customers will have the chance to win free food every day, along with some extra, big-hitting prizes.

How does the Chipotle IQ game work?

First things first, to play, you need to be a Chipotle Rewards member. To sign up, simply download the Chipotle app or head to their website to register your email address and set up an account for free.

The game, called Chipotle IQ, tests customers’ knowledge of Chipotle’s ingredients, food standards, culinary techniques, and more, according to a news release from the chain. This is the fifth year Chipotle has run this promotion.

According to Chipotle, the rules are as follows:

  • From Tuesday, August 20 at 9:01 a.m. ET through Thursday, August 22 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the company will offer 5,000 BOGO codes per hour to the first Chipotle Rewards members who score a 10 out of 10 on Chipotle IQ. Fans can play once per day.
  • A perfect score will unlock an extra credit question, and if answered correctly, players will be entered to win one of 50 free burritos for a year prizes.

The BOGO (Buy One, Get One) codes mean you can get one free regular menu entrée item with the purchase of one regular menu entrée item when ordered in-restaurant or via the Chipotle mobile app or online.

A “regular menu entrée item” means a burrito, burrito bowl, single order of three tacos, quesadilla, or a salad, and does not include kids’ meals, 3-point meals, or single tacos.
