Taylor Swift has met with two young victims of the recent stabbing attack on a UK dance class celebrating her music.
The girls’ mother, Sami Foster, posted a TikTok on Sunday (August 18th) thanking Swift for an apparent meet-and-greet at Wembley Stadium. “You drew stars around my scars,” she wrote in the caption. “The biggest thankyou to @Taylor Swift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all 🫶🏻 thankyou for bringing Hope & Autumn pure happiness last night & always.”
The clip, which you can watch below, features a photo slideshow of Foster’s daughters with Swift while “Enchanted” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) plays in the background. Swift’s mother, Andrea, also appears in one of the images.
In the photos, one of the girls is seen with a bandage on her arm featuring the lyrics, “You drew stars around my scars,” from Swift’s folklore song “cardigan.”
Based on that evidence, multiple fan accounts have concluded the girls were affected by the July 29th stabbing at a Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England (Authorities previously confirmed all of the injured children were released from the hospital, but did not make their names public).
Three children were killed in the attack, which left two adults and eight other children injured. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on the scene and has been charged with three counts of murder and another 10 counts of attempted murder.
Following the incident, Swift shared her condolences on Instagram. “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock,” she wrote. “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders.”
