SNL's Victoria Jackson Diagnosed with Inoperable Tumor

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Victoria Jackson has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her windpipe.

In an Instagram video, the 65-year-old Jackson explained that doctors “cannot operate and remove the marble in my chest that is pressing on my windpipe and will eventually suffocate me.” Instead, she has been prescribed a cancer medication that “will shrink the marble” and, on average, provides patients with about 32.6 months to live.

Jackson expressed that she has lived a “fantastic life” and is at peace with the possibility of her life coming to an end. She recalled recently lying in bed and hearing God ask, “Ready to come home?” She responded, “Well, this Earth is kind of exploding right now with Satanic things.”

However, Jackson added that she would “like to see my grandson born—his name is Jimmy—in October and get to know him a little. And I would like to see my daughter Aubrey have a baby.”

Jackson was a cast member on SNL from 1986 to 1992. She also appeared in films including UHF, Family Business, and The Pick-up Artist.
