Alinity accused of breaking Twitch TOS and not getting banned

Twitch streamer Fanfan accused fellow broadcaster Alinity of blatantly breaking the platform’s terms of service and was surprised to see that she wasn’t banned for her attire.

Twitch is no stranger to controversy when it comes to deciding what stream content is acceptable and what isn’t. For instance, the site has seen drama involving hot tubs, censor bars, and accidental nudity in the past, leading to several policy changes.

Over the years, the website has become a bit more lenient with its bans, such as no longer suspending creators for accidental adult content, but it’s not uncommon to see streamers toe the line.

On August 7, prominent streamer Fanfan was checking out popular Twitch clips and stumbled across a video of Alinity who took pads out of her shirt, overexposing herself a bit in the process.

“As someone who has adequately reviewed the Twitch TOS, if you know that your n**ples are out, you’re not allowed to have them showing through your top if you’re aware of it. The only time it’s okay to show your n**ples through your top is when you are unaware and it’s an accident,” Fanfan said.

Twitch’s Community Guidelines don’t allow showing “female presenting individuals’ breasts with exposed nipples (unless actively breastfeeding a child).”

The platform also doesn’t allow “Content that focuses on clothed intimate body parts such as the buttocks, groin, or breasts for extended periods of time.”

Fanfan’s video calling out Alinity spread through the streaming community and has been viewed over 180,000 times. However, it doesn’t seem like Alinity will be facing any consequences.

Her original clip was uploaded back on August 1 and Twitch hasn’t taken any action against the streamer since then.

This isn’t the first time Alinity’s attire has landed her in hot water. Back in 2020, the streamer actually asked Twitch for a longer suspension after being hit with a one-day ban following a wardrobe malfunction.
