Godzilla Minus One is receiving a limited edition Steelbook 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray set. It currently doesn’t have a release date, but you can pre-order it here via Amazon.
The three-disc collection includes 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray copies of the film along with a Blu-ray bonus disc. In addition to the Steelbook edition, Godzilla Minus One will be available in standard 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD packages.
Directed by Takashi Yamazaki, Godzilla Minus One comes from Toho Studios and exists entirely outside of Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse. Set in 1947, the film revolves around a former World War II kamikaze pilot suffering from PTSD after an encounter with Godzilla.
Despite being made on a relatively low budget estimated to be around $10–15 million, Godzilla Minus One became the first non-English language film in Academy Awards history to win the Best Visual Effects category. Read why it was named one of our best movies of 2023.
It’s worth noting that Godzilla Minus One is currently streaming on Netflix, but it won’t be there forever — making the 4K release a must-buy for fans of the movie.
