Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that another Jennifer Horton Deveraux swap is on the way, so let’s talk about how it’ll all go down. Cady McClain is set to reprise role of Jennifer on August 16, so that might be confusing if you’ve already heard that Melissa Reeves is coming back.
Reeves is set to return as Jennifer later this year since she’ll be part of Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) memorial and the show’s special tribute to Bill Hayes. It makes sense to bring classic Jennifer back for that since she was available.
In the meantime, Jennifer is obviously needed for all the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) drama since there’ll be a DNA test to determine if she’s indeed Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller).
That’s why Cady McClain will fill in for Melissa Reeves again, so look for her version of Jennifer to become part of this whole Abigail mess.
On the heels of that DNA test we mentioned, Jennifer will show up in Salem to get to the bottom of things.
Days spoilers say Jennifer will pump Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) for info and will no doubt grill Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) as well.
Of course, there’ll inevitably be a big moment when Jennifer comes face to face with AnnaLynne McCord’s character, so that should give her a shock.
No matter what the DNA results reveal, Jennifer will presumably think this woman looks just like the daughter she lost.
Once Cady McClain steps up as Jennifer in the Abigail saga, we’ll see the Jenn switch happen down the road.
Doug’s memorial episodes are coming up in December, but Melissa Reeves’ Jennifer will be back on-screen in November to celebrate Thanksgiving ahead of the somber gathering.
