Mark Tremonti’s New Solo Album and Single “Just Too Much”

Mark Tremonti, guitarist for Creed and Alter Bridge, has announced a new album with his eponymous solo band, Tremonti. Titled The End Will Show Us How, the LP is set to arrive January 10th via Napalm Records, and the lead single “Just Too Much” can be streamed now.

Tremonti gets to exercise his full array of musical abilities in his solo work, as heard on “Just Too Much.” Crushing blues-inflected guitar riffs provide the backbone for the song, and he simultaneously commands a soaring vocal — a talent that often gets overlooked in his other bands.

On The End Will Show Us How, Tremonti is backed by guitarist Eric Friedman, bassist Tanner Keegan, and drummer Ryan Bennett. The group is set to support the Michael Baskette-produced album — a 12-song collection — with a tour of Europe early next year, as well as additional dates to come.

Meanwhile, Tremonti is currently on the road performing with a reunited Creed. The tour continues Tuesday night (August 6th) in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and runs through December. Pick up tickets here.

As for Alter Bridge, the band did tour as recently as 2023, but the combination of Creed’s reunion, the new Tremonti solo band album, and singer Myles Kennedy’s increased solo activity suggests a period of downtime for the immediate future.
