The former Destiny’s Child singer gushed that her “soul is at ease.”
The big news was shared on the cover of Essence’s August 2024 digital cover.
LaToya and Taleo tied the knot in the Destiny’s Child singer’s hometown, Houston, Texas.

Her guests included Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, Bryan-Michael Cox, and LaTavia Roberson, among others.

LaToya wore a gorgeous white corset-styled gown, while Taleo donned a black and white tuxedo.
Their guests all wore black, and two ballerinas danced their way down the aisles in place of the traditional flower girls.
LaToya’s marriage to Taleo marks the singer’s third.
She was previously married to Tommicus Walker from 2017 until 2021 and briefly married to Rob Hillman in 2016.
While they were together, LaToya had two kids with Tommicus.
The following year after her divorce, on September 18, 2022, LaToya turned to her faith to pray for healing.
She shared her thoughts with her friend Alexis ‘Lex’ White, who was also friends with Taleo.
Lex eventually connected the two after she learned he was single.
When Lex set them up, LaToya told her friend of 20 years, “So this has been your friend all this time, he looks like this, he has all these great qualities.”
Now, LaToya refers to Taleo as “truly my best friend, he is my homie,” and said that “My soul is at ease.”
BLENDED FAMILY
At first, LaToya was hesitant as she was a single mom; however, she decided to give Taleo a chance.
Taleo eventually moved from Raleigh, North Carolina, to be with LaToya.
