The Eggmen Whoooooo! return with hazy psychedelia, guitar solos, and melancholic acceptance on ‘Eggman vs Hellboy’

Welsh psych-pop-punk supergroup The Eggmen Whoooooo!, featuring members of El Goodo, Los Blancos, and Trecco Beis, have released their second single.
The colorful melancholy of The Eggmen Whoooooo! comes to life with their latest release, ‘Eggman vs Hellboy.’ This new single continues the band’s exploration of 60s melodists’ valve-lit studio craft and the slack, low-slung sounds of 90s college rock. Following their June debut, ‘I Don’t Care,’ the band’s latest track weaves lyrics of content resignation into a melodic tapestry.
Frye says of the single:
“A slight twist on the eternal ‘I’m only human’ type of lyrical sentiment. Here the crux is slightly more extreme: I’m not a superhero, I’m just an Eggman Whoooooo!”
