MRS Hinch has given fans a poignant update on her recent loss of dad Alan.
The cleaning influencer, 34, spoke out about the pain she and her family are going through after she lost her beloved dad on April 25, 2024.
Since the loss, Mrs Hinch has only posted on Instagram a handful of times while they process their loss as a family.
Today, she posted a video of son Lennie and gave an update as to her “extreme grief journey.”
The clip showed her three-year-old son reciting a prayer in church with the words “Bless the Lord as we sit together, Bless the hands that make the food, Bless us Lord, Amen.”
Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, said: “Children are so precious.
“Our Lennies prayer in church makes me smile every time I watch it and a simple smile right now is everything.
“I see the signs, I feel his presence, I truly believe my Dad is here with us and will guide us until we meet again.
“To anyone else going through an extreme grief journey, I’m with you.
“And wanted to send my love. I don’t believe this will ever get easier, in fact why does it feel like it’s getting harder?
“But I pray .. I pray that we get stronger over time, so this pain may one day feel a little less heavy.
“Thank you for your kind words and thank you for being here.”
Previously, the cleaning fanatic shared that her late father, who suffered with life-long “chest, lung and heart” problems, was “never blessed with… fantastic health” and had been hospitalised for several weeks in 2023.
Recently the mum-of-two took an eight-week break from social media, but shared an emotional and a gut-wrenching update with her followers when she returned, where she bravely confessed her efforts of “trying to heal, while trying to grieve.”
Posting on Instagram, Mrs Hinch shared a touching clip of her and her youngest son, Lennie, three, walking through fields.
Alongside the adorable video, whereby we saw the young boy holding his mother’s hand, Mrs Hinch told her 4.8million followers: “Trying to heal, while trying to grieve, while trying to live, while trying to dream, while trying to smile, while trying to give love.”
The influencer, who counts Stacey Solomon as one of her besties, wrote: “ILYD”, meaning ‘I Love You Dad’.
Sophie previously told fans: “I’d be lying if I said I was okay… in fact, I feel broken.
”I feel an extreme mix of emotions and not too much makes sense right now.
”It’s like I’ve entered this new part of my world, where only grief sits, and it feels heavy; something I can’t describe unless you’ve been there.
”For now, I’m really trying to navigate this new life without one of the people I love the most; one of my biggest support systems.
”I feel like my Dad taught me everything I know; except how to live without him.”
When did Mrs Hinch’s dad pass away?
ON May 8, 2024, Sophie revealed her beloved dad had passed away “suddenly, yet peacefully.
Her father actually died on April 25, 2024, but his grieving daughter waited until she was ready to share the sad news with her fans.
In April 2023, Sophie revealed how she was taking a break social media after her dad ended up in hospital.
She said at the time: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.
“He’s always struggled you know.”
She heartbreakingly added: “I just want him to be happy.”
The grieving mum also took the time to thank her fans for their support during this difficult time for both her and her loved ones.
She continued: “I wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the overwhelming amount of love and support.
”I may not be able to get back to you all right now, but I see you and I am so grateful.
”Thank you for being so patient with me while I try to find my feet again alongside my family, who I am SO incredibly proud of and who I love with my whole heart.
”I’m really hoping to find my feet again one day, my family is my everything.”
