Musk made the remark while answering a journalist who asked if he was still open to a fight. He said, “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any time.”
On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg didn’t seem as enthusiastic as Elon Musk about a showdown with his fellow billionaire.

Mark Zuckerberg Responds To Elon Musk’s Fight Request
Musk recently challenged Zuckerberg to a fight months after the initial buzz over the pair duking it out died down.
While being quizzed by a reporter about it, Musk boldly claimed, “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules.”
However, when Zuckerberg caught wind of this, his reaction was one of disinterest. The Facebook owner took to his social media platform, Threads, to respond to Musk by asking, “Are we really doing this again?”

In June 2023, the pair seemed ready to fight each other, even going as far as agreeing to a “cage match” in Las Vegas.
At the time, social media users had stoked the flames, with someone posting on X that Musk needed to watch out for Zuckerberg’s competing platform, Threads.
This prompted Musk to say, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.” In response, Zuckerberg shared a screenshot of the Space X founder’s comment on his Instagram stories, along with the caption, “Send me location.”
At the time, a spokesperson for Meta seemingly confirmed the seriousness of the duo’s fight to People Magazine, saying, “The story speaks for itself.”

Mark Zuckerberg Says The Fight Has Yet To Happen Because Of Elon Musk
According to Zuckerberg, the fight has not yet happened because Musk has refused to commit to a date and time.
“I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity,” Zuckerberg said of the situation at the time, per People. “Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.
The Meta CEO added, “If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

Elon Musk Claimed The Fight Will Be Held At An ‘Epic Location’ In Italy
The X owner initially proposed holding the fight in the “Vegas Octagon,” but Musk and Zuckerberg eventually settled on duking it out in Italy.
Musk even gave a detailed breakdown of the event in a series of tweets shared in August last year.
He wrote, “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.”
He also claimed that “Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy” and that the proceeds will go to “veterans” and “pediatric hospitals in Italy.”
Social Media Users React To Elon Musk’s New Comments About Fighting Mark Zuckerberg
Amid Elon’s fresh remarks about fighting Zuckerberg, it seems even netizens have lost interest in seeing a match between the two tech moguls.
One individual wrote on Threads, “Elon is really turning into a bore.” Another said, “Be the adult in the room and ignore him, Mark. I know you’re better than this – but I’m proud of you either way. Elon has become so tragic. I hope he gets the help he needs.”
A third person noted, “[Zuck]. Don’t pay attention to Musk. Ignore him. He thrives on attention and being contrarian. Ignore his immature stupidity and he will look for someone else to bother.”
Another wrote on the platform, “I truly don’t give a flying f-ck about two of the wealthiest people on the planet doing anything other than actually putting their money to use solving real world problems.”

Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Slams Him On Mark Zuckerberg’s Platform
Musk’s comments about fighting Zuckerberg came shortly after his daughter, Vivian, slammed him for saying she was “dead” during an interview in which he talked about the “woke mind virus.”
The 20-year-old woman, who is trans, used Zuckerberg’s Threads app to address claims Musk made about her in a Daily Wire interview and on X.
She wrote: “I look pretty good for a dead b-tch,” and reiterated her stance that she “disowned” her father, “not the other way around.”
Vivian also posted a screenshot of a tweet from Musk, where he claimed she was “born gay and slightly autistic.” She criticized these statements as “entirely fake.”
“Like, literally none of this ever happened. Ever,” Vivian said. “I don’t even know where he got this from. My best guess is he went to the Milo Yiannopoulis school of gay stereotypes, just picked some at random, and said, ‘eh- good enough’ in a last-ditch attempt to garner sympathy points when he is so obviously in the wrong even in his own f-cking story.”
