MILEY Cyrus and her dad, Billy Ray, are “finally talking” after his estranged wife, Firerose’s, toxic plan to “stoke a rift” which saw her controlling the country crooner’s socials.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that despite persistent rumors of a rift between Miley and her dad, they’re not true.

“Billy Ray and Miley are on good terms and have been for a long time,” an insider said.
Not only that, the source claimed when it was reported that the famous father-daughter duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram – for his part – the country singer wasn’t the one to hit the unfollow button.
“The truth is that Firerose kept him from communicating with his family, and she took over his social media and unfollowed people that he was following like his daughters, Lil Nas X, and so many other people in his life,” the Cyrus insider claimed.
The insider did, however, acknowledge that there were hurt feelings within the family after the 62-year-old grew distant from them during his relationship with the 35-year-old Australian singer.

“Firerose sabotaged his relationship with his family, but real rift rumors were totally overblown.
They also made a note that when Miley did not mention her famous pops during her Grammy’s speech, they said “she wasn’t dissing him, even though everyone wanted to take it that way.”
While the insider claimed that acrimony between Billy Ray and his daughter had been overblown, the pop star still doesn’t follow her dad on Instagram.
The update on the famous family’s alleged feud and any reconciliations also doesn’t account for bombshell recordings released yesterday of the Achy Breaky Heart singer slamming Miley and his ex-wife Tish Cyrus.
A rep for Firerose responded to a request for comment.
“Billy Ray got caught red-handed. His ongoing smear campaign against Firerose is becoming ridiculous and exhausting.
“Firerose is the only party with tangible evidence of who the real toxic partner in this relationship was,” the rep’s statement concluded.
The recordings, as well as a profanity-filled text message, were released yesterday amid Billy Ray’s brutal divorce from the Aussie singer.

The two audio tapes which were obtained by The U.S. Sun appeared to record the country singer bashing his estranged ex in an argument, as well as a second recording supposedly slamming his ex-wife, step sons and his daughter Miley.
In one audio clip, obtained by The U.S. Sun, the country singer seemingly mentioned his feud with his daughter Miley, 31, while speaking of himself in the third person.
“Everyone knows that devil’s a skank,” said the Old Town Road singer, who, according to a source, was referring to Miley.
In another recording, which Billy Ray admitted was him, the singer went on a rant aimed at Firerose after accusing her of making him late to a performance.
In the rant, he called his wife at the time a selfish f***ing b***h, while blaming her for their tardiness.
A source close to the singer later told The U.S. Sun that the argument was over his invite to appear to sing with Nicki Minaj on short notice when she was in Tennessee.
Rose Palermo, Billy Ray’s attorney, responded to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment pertaining to the audio clips.
The legal eagle said the singer’s estranged wife is trying to “litigate her case in the press.”
In the statement, the attorney also pointed to legal filings in which Billy Ray claimed that he was “vocally frustrated” with Firerose during their marriage after he uncovered her “true motives for marrying him.”

BILLY RAY AND FIREROSE’S DIVORCE
The Old Town Road singer and Firerose were married just seven months when he filed for divorce, after first tying the knot in October of 2023.
Their relationship, which became public just after his divorce from Tish, his wife of over 30 years, caused a significant rift in the family.
Billy Ray has alleged a slew of unscrupulous behavior against his ex, who legally changed her name to Firerose after previously being known as Johanna Rosie Hodges.
He alleged that the Aussie singer was unfaithful, and withheld pertinent personal details, including that she was married before and that her maiden name was her ex-husband’s last name.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Billy Ray had requested Firerose’s medical records after she claimed the entertainer filed for divorce the day before she underwent surgery for a double mastectomy.
