Award-winning singer, Oscar-winning actress, all-around entertainer, and Twitter icon Cher has announced a two-part memoir, titled Cher: The Memoir. The first half of the story will arrive on November 19th via HarperCollins. Pre-orders are ongoing.
Described as a book showcasing “her trademark honesty and humor,” the first part of the memoir series will trace Cher’s childhood years, dreams of fame, her relationship with her mother, and the experience of meeting and later marrying longtime creative partner Sonny Bono. “Cher: The Memoir reveals the daughter, the sister, the wife, the lover, the mother, and the superstar,” the description reads. “It is a life too immense for only one book.”

Cher achieved another huge milestone this year when she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — even after previous comments about their decades of radio silence, despite her longtime eligibility. Her timing couldn’t have been better, though, as she appeared on Dolly Parton’s 2023 rock album, Rockstar.
