The Disney Plus-Hulu-Max bundle has arrived, and the discount is actually pretty notable. For $16.99 per month, you can get all three services with ads — a savings of 34% from the around $26 it would cost to get each subscriptions à la carte, or perhaps more apt, it’s a savings of 15% if you’re currently paying for the existing Disney Plus-Hulu “with ads” bundle and a separate Max subscription (currently $9.99 each, or around $20 total).
If you prefer your streaming services without ads, that version of the Disney Plus-Hulu-Max bundle will cost $29.99, which is 38% off an estimated $50 when subscribed individually — or, put another way, that’s 19% off if you’re comparing it to the current Disney-Plus Hulu “Duo Premium” bundle and Max’s ad-free tier ($16.99 per month each, or around $37 total).
The Disney Plus-Hulu-Max bundle was first announced in early May this year and comes at a time when streaming giants are vying to be one of the handful of streaming services that audiences tend to subscribe to, with Netflix having the strongest foothold (277 million globally) and everyone else vying to be the “not-Netflix” option of choice. Last week, Netflix dismissed the idea of doing a similar bundle as it “already operates as a go-to destination for entertainment.”
