Bill Crook, bassist and former member of Spiritbox, A Textbook Tragedy and Living With Lions, has passed away.
Crook was the live bassist with Spiritbox from 2018 until 2022, while also contributing some backing vocals to debut album ‘Eternal Blue’. More recently, he had been working on a new project with Underoath‘s Aaron Gillespie which he had posted about on social media.
The news of his death was first reported by Kai Turmann of A Textbook Tragedy who wrote “I’m so profoundly sad to say that our dear friend Bill Crook has passed away. He was a friend to so many, and a dear friend to me since we were children.”
Spiritbox’s label Pale Chord have since confirmed the news saying “Please give the band and members time and space to process their loss. RIP Bill.”
