Ben Affleck Reportedly Snubs Wife Jennifer Lopez’s Birthday Bash

There is allegedly no reconciliation in sight for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, as a source claims they are “not getting back together.”

The Hollywood power couple were reportedly spending time apart in a bid to work things out on their own; however, this has not helped the situation.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck notably spent their second wedding anniversary miles apart, and very recently, the actor snubbed his wife’s 55th birthday party in the Hamptons.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer’s marriage to Affleck has been embroiled in breakup rumors for the past few months, especially due to their rare public sightings after initially going 47 days without being seen together.

According to a source who spoke to Fox News, Lopez and Affleck are now heading for their second split as they are done trying to make it work.

“They are not getting back together,” the insider claimed. “They have no plans to announce that they aren’t a couple right now. JLo wanted to make it work really badly, he’s just a different person to her now.”

Although Lopez and Affleck continue to remain mute on the rumors surrounding the state of their relationship, a source previously speculated that it may be because of the public attention that was drawn to their marriage due to Lopez’s films, “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” and “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”

According to People Magazine, sources confirmed that Affleck was absent from his wife’s lavish 55th birthday party, which she held on Saturday.

The Grammy nominee hosted the “Bridgerton”-themed party just a few days before her actual birthday date, July 24.

Guests arrived for the event dressed in regal attire, including Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, who wore a stunning blue gown.

Prior to the event, a large van full of flowers was seen arriving at Lopez’s party location, along with a horse and carriage, seemingly hired by the singer.

Lopez reportedly rented some fancy furniture for the party, as a truck for the design company, Serena & Lily, was spotted in the vicinity.

The couple were said to be taking time apart from each other to sort out their differences.

Lopez has been staying in the New York enclave and has been spotted strutting around on bike rides with close pals and her manager, Benny Medina.

She was recently spotted leaving a luxury gym with Medina, where she showed off her toned abs under a white bralette.

On the other hand, Affleck has remained in Los Angeles and was recently seen wearing a suit with a blue shirt and carrying a duffle bag as he walked into his office. A source shared that the Oscar winner has been “working nonstop, still at the office all of the time.”

One source recently told Us Weekly that the pair are “going through so much individually and as a couple,” adding that they’re most likely going to “take some time to see if this complicated moment can resolve itself and they come back to each other [as] better people.”

It turns out that the “Ain’t Your Mama” crooner may have been too much for Affleck to handle, as an insider recently told OK! Magazine that she brought “too much drama” into the “Deep Water” actor’s life.

The insider noted that Lopez was the actor’s “dream woman,” but the alleged breakdown of their marriage has upset him.

“Jennifer was Ben’s dream woman,” the source told the news outlet. “It was drama all the time. He’s feeling down about it and is upset and depressed it didn’t work out, even though he knows ending it is the right thing to do.”

The insider went further to note that their lifestyle differences also played a significant part in their marital woes as Lopez has a “big entourage that follows her around daily,” something that Affleck is reportedly not comfortable with.

“She’s tried to make Ben understand that being Jennifer Lopez is a 24/7 job,” the source explained. “She is her brand, she lives and breathes it while Ben can leave his work at the door if he chooses to. Jennifer’s keeping her head up. She doesn’t want to be seen as the villain.”

Another source told the news outlet that the pair “have gone through phases where things haven’t been as great between them due to their different personalities and not getting enough time together.”

“They’re not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them,” they quipped.

Lopez and Affleck are reportedly “in a rush” to sell their marital home after publicly listing it for $68 million.

The singer was on vacation in Italy when Affleck went to move out all his belongings from the 12 bedroom 24 bathroom property, with sources claiming she was “horrified” by her husband’s actions.

“Jen was horrified when she came back and found out Ben had packed everything up while she was gone,” the source told Page Six. “As far as she’s concerned, a real slap in the face.”
