Mama June’s drug test results to be revealed in custody fight with Anna Cardwell’s ex over granddaughter Kaitlyn, 11

Mama June Shannon has subpoenaed her drug test results to be shown in court as part of the nasty custody over her granddaughter

MAMA June Shannon’s drug test results are set to be revealed in her custody fight over her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, 11, after her daughter Anna Cardwell’s death.

In a new filing, exclusively revealed by The U.S. Sun, June‘s attorney has subpoenaed the reality star’s occupational medicine doctor to appear during what is set to be the final hearing in her case against Anna’s ex Michael Cardwell, 31.

The filing reads, “You are hereby subpoenaed: drug test results from January 1, 2023 to present for your patient June Shannon.”

In another filing, June’s attorney also requested Eldridge Toney, who her daughter Anna married in the late stages of her terminal battle with adrenal cancer, to attend the hearing.

In other filings, Michael’s supposed employer has been required to attend the hearing, as has Kaitlyn’s principal.

For his part, Michael’s attorney has so far subpoenaed three people presumably to speak on his behalf.

Kaitlyn filed a petition last week asking the court to allow her to continue to primarily reside with her grandmother, and not have visitation with Michael.

The 11-year-old’s biological father is suspected, but he has never taken a DNA test and has never been a part of her life, according to the filings.

In another recent filing, June’s attorney requested what is called an “in-camera review” from the Department of Family and Children Services.

June has claimed that Michael abused Kaitlyn while they were living under the same roof.

“Upon information and belief, the Wilkinson County Department of Family and Children Services have filed regarding Plaintiff, Defendant, and/or the minor child, to-wit: Kaitlyn Shannon, born in 2012, involving records pertaining to child abuse and/or neglect,” the court documents read.

Michael’s attorney has firmly denied the accusations.

In a previous statement to The U.S. Sun, the attorney said, “Michael flatly denies any type of abuse of his children or his ex-wife or any other past girlfriend.

“We will see how June plans to prove this or any other of her supposed truths or allegations,” the legal eagle quipped.

Anna and her ex shared 8-year-old Kylee, who Michael has full custody of.

In his initial complaint, Michael argued that Kaitlyn would accompany Kylee during his visitation.

FROM KAITLYN’S PETITION TO THE COURT

Anna Cardwell’s daughter Kaitlyn submitted her own petition to the court

It read “My name is Kaitlyn Shannon, and I was born in 2012. I’m currently 11 years of age. I am electing and hereby expressing my desire and intent to reside primarily with my maternal grandmother, June Shannon.

“I do not wish to have visitation with Michael Cardwell. I am making this affidavit in this election voluntarily and under no duress or compulsion from any person. I have not been promised any benefits or rewards for making this affidavit.

“I understand that this affidavit will be presented to the judge in the above case of the court’s consideration in determining the issue of custody, and I hereby state that this affidavit expresses my current desire and intent in this matter regarding where I desire to primarily reside. I also wish to speak to the judge to enforce court of my wishes,” the affidavit concluded.

However, June shot back, claiming Kylee refused to visit her father unless Kaitlyn came with her.

“While Kaitlyn did sometimes accompany her sibling, the visits were infrequent,” June had claimed in a filing.

MICHAEL’S SIDE

In his petition for custody of Kaitlyn, first exclusively revealed by The U.S. Sun, Michael said he has “fully and completely undertaken a permanent, unequivocal, committed, and responsible parental role” in Kaitlyn’s life.

Anna’s ex said he has “engaged in consistent caretaking of the child and established a bonded and dependent relationship with the child.”

Michael also hit out at Anna’s well-documented tumultuous relationship with her mother, June.

“Anna has been raised by her maternal grandmother in Griffin, Georgia since she was approximately eight years old and only returned to the home of June Shannon when she was 17.

“Anna has had a very sordid relationship with her mother throughout her life and went various periods of time without speaking to her.

“Likewise, June’s presence in the minor child’s life has been inconsistent,” he alleged in his initial filing.

A judge is set to decide who will have primary custody of Kaitlyn going forward in a hearing set for this week.

It appears Anna Cardwell did not leave behind any legal wishes about Kaitlyn's custody
