MICHAEL Jackson’s son Bigi – formerly known as Blanket- was spotted looking unbothered during a low-key shopping run on Saturday.
This comes after R&B singer Janelle Monae made news by posting and deleting a recreation of his late father dangling him over a balcony.
Bigi, formerly called Blanket, was seen breezing through a Target in Los Angeles in the new photos.
The 22-year-old was spotted buying a Minecraft game, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, and Kleenex tissues
Bigi, who changed his name in 2015, is reportedly a gamer and drives a bright purple Tesla, which he headed to after purchasing the items.
He donned a casual look with a Star Wars Darth Vader t-shirt and baggy basketball shorts.

The youngest of Michael Jackson’s three kids, Bigi did not smile but seemed content as he wore his long hair down and went on his way.
‘CLASSLESS’ PARODY VIDEO
On Thursday, acclaimed singer Janelle deleted a video of her recreating Michael hanging his youngest son, Bigi, over a balcony.
The Lipstick Lover singer, who is currently on tour in Europe, posted the parody clip on Instagram and it swiftly received backlash.
In the post, Monáe, who was dressed as the late King of Pop in a red shirt and black wig, dangled a robotic dog over a hotel balcony.
While some fans thought the video was in good fun, many felt it was disrespectful to mock Michael, who died at age 50 in June 2009, and the “low point.”
“The fact that @JanelleMonae is so classless now and attacking @JanetJackson brother Michael Jackson who has been dead over 15 years is pathetic and sad. Janelle I hope you never have to face his sister now because what you did was sick and evil and you know it!” wrote one X user.
“Not sure what made @JanelleMonae think it was a good idea to re-enact a low point in Michael Jackson’s career 22 years after it happened and 15 years after his death,” wrote another.
“Janelle Monàe lost all my respect today. Ain’t nothing funny about that. LET MICHAEL JACKSON REST IN PEACE,” wrote a third.
Blanket was the baby in the infamous photo of Michael holding a child over the balcony at the Adlon Hotel November in Berlin, Germany, in November 2002.
BLANKET’S LAWSUIT
Bigi’s name has also been in the news lately, as he recently sued his paternal grandmother, Katherine Jackson, 94.
Michael Jackson’s Kids
Michael Jackson had three children to pass on his legacy before his sudden death in June 2009. Here’s what his adult kids have been up to.
- Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., primarily known as Prince, is Michael’s first-born child with his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe. He followed in his father’s footsteps by working in the entertainment industry as an actor and producer. According to IMDB, Prince’s credits include Daybreak (1993), Hangin’ with the Homeboys (1991), and Nano: Hold On (2017). He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

- Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket or Bigi, maintains his privacy away from the limelight. He is said to enjoy martial arts and is passionate about climate change.
Katherine has been involved in an ongoing legal dispute over the $600 million deal with Sony Music for half of her late son’s publishing and recorded music catalog.
Blanket’s two siblings are brother Prince, 27, and sister Paris, 24,
They supported the sale, but their grandmother appealed it.
Now Blanket is fighting for Katherine to cover her legal expenses herself rather than relying on his father’s estate to pay them.

He shared his two oldest children with his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, whom he married from 1996 to 2000.
