Office Ladies' Angela Kinsey In Workout Gear Plays Tennis With Rainn Wilson

The Office star Angela Kinsey reunited with co-star Rainn Wilson for some tennis, and of course, they both look adorable. Kinsey, 53, shared a picture of herself wearing a black skirt and gray shirt with the words “hot dog fingers” on it (it’s a joke from The Office), holding a tennis racket while posing with Wilson on the court. “Team Hot Dog Fingers is ready to take the court! ❤️🎾 ,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Kinsey is living her best life in her 50s, and the small things that make her very happy.

Kinsey loves walking every day. “It’s not even about burning calories for me,” she told The Healthy. “It’s just about getting out of work mode, getting outside and walking through my neighborhood and looking at the trees and the flowers and just getting a little bit of vitamin D. Often on my walks I’ll call my mom or my sisters. I miss them. We don’t live in the same state, so talking to them is just like having a little minute where I’m home with my mom at her kitchen table and we’re having a cup of tea. That is one of my absolute favorite self-care things. A nice walk where I get to just check in with my family and take in some nature.”

Kinsey enjoys an early family dinner and then essentially fasts until breakfast the next day. “I really don’t eat after dinner,” she told The Healthy. “We eat dinner at like 5:30, so a very early meal. And then once the kids are in bed, I like to lay in bed and I like to read for a little bit. I find if I read that just helps my whole body relax. I don’t like to watch something right up until bedtime because if I watch something, it just activates my brain in a different way. So that’s kind of my routine. I get a nice big glass of water and I read a little bit, and then I go to bed.”

Just like her character Angela Martin, Kinsey occasionally shops in the kids section for Target sweatpants. “I joke to my husband that I have my daytime sweatpants and my nighttime sweatpants. These are my daytime ones,” she told New York Magazine. “I’ve had them forever. They’re really soft and aren’t expensive — I would have a very hard time paying a lot of money for sweatpants. I have a bunch of different types from Target, but these are particularly comfortable. I’m also short, so I hit the kids’ department at Target pretty hard because I can get a kid size 12 or 14 and the length fits me perfectly.”

Kinsey has her own method of dealing with restless nights. “If I wake up in the night and I get out of bed for whatever reason, just the act of physically leaving the bed, my brain starts to wake up, my mind starts to wake up,” she told The Healthy. “So if something wakes me up in the night and I know it’s not an emergency, I just don’t let myself sit up. I find if I actually physically get up, it’s much harder for me to then get back into that sleep.”

Kinsey loves family game nights. “We all sit down at the dining room table, make a little tray of snacks, and sit there and play,” she told New York Magazine. “Right now, we’re really loving Catan. I love the strategy part of it, and it gets the kids thinking, like: ‘Okay, to build this town, we’re going to need wood and clay; how do we get that?’ You have to learn to barter and trade. There’s a little bit of luck with the roll of the dice, but I think the strategy portion is what makes it fun for the kids.”
