Marvel Studios has released the final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine to further ramp up hype for the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, the only MCU movie that will be released in 2024.
The final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, released one week before the highly-anticipated movie hits theaters, focuses heavily on the history of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
The trailer also reveals one of the film’s major cameos as it’s been confirmed that Dafne Keen, the actress who played Wolverine’s daughter X-23 in 2017’s Logan, will appear in the film.
It’s certainly wise for Marvel Studios to lean on Jackman’s Wolverine rather than Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in the marketing, because — despite how popular Reynolds’ take on the Merc with the Mouth may be — Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine is one of the most beloved in the history of the genre, up there with the likes of Christopher Reeves as Superman, Michael Keaton as Batman, Heath Ledger as Joker, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
Alongside Reynolds’ Deadpool and Jackman’s epic return as Wolverine, Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Emma Corrin, Owen Wilson, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Rob Delaney, and Jennifer Garner. There is also set to be a bevy of high-profile cameos that Marvel Studios is keeping under lock and key.
Check out the official trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, hitting movie theaters in the United States on Friday, July 26, below.
