Now in its 47th year, the Kennedy Center Honors are given to those in the performing arts space for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.

Alongside members of the Grateful Dead, other recipients receiving the honor in 2024 include filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola; singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt; and jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval.
Additionally, the Kennedy Center Honors will recognize the famed Apollo Theater with a special Honors as an iconic American institution.
The 47th annual Kennedy Center Honors will be air Monday, December 23rd beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
