Ingrid Andress says she was “drunk” while singing the National Anthem prior to the 2024 Home Run Derby and is checking herself into a rehab facility “to get the help I need.”
“That was not me last night,” Andress wrote in a note posted to social media on Tuesday. “I apologize to the MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun.”
Andress’ off-key performance of the Star-Spangled Banner was roundly mocked both online and on the field, with several of the players seen laughing.
