Johnny Depp Begins New Love Chapter With Russian Model

Johnny Depp has once again found love. The actor is reportedly dating Russian model Yulia Vlasova, whom he first met in 2021 at a film festival in Prague.

It comes two years after he was involved in a defamation trial with his ex, Amber Heard, who had written an op-ed that seemingly accused him of domestic abuse during their marriage.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce the following year.

Recent reports reveal that Depp has entered a romantic relationship with Russian beautician Vlasova after a prolonged period of singlehood following his split from ex-wife Heard.

The actor-singer was said to have met the 28-year-old female when he attended the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in August 2021, held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Vlasova is said to be based in the city and runs a makeup and hairstyling studio there. However, she often heads to the UK to spend time with Depp, who resides on a Somerset 850-acre estate.

According to Daily Mail, sources close to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star claim that he and Vlasova have been dating “here and there” for over two years. This timeline suggests that their relationship began shortly after the completion of Depp’s defamation trial with Heard.

It was also confirmed that Depp and Vlasova’s relationship is “casual” at the moment. Neither of the duo have confirmed their relationship, although they have been spotted together on a number of occasions.

Earlier this year, Vlasova hinted at her affection for the Hollywood star by sharing a snapshot on her Instagram Story, which showed her and Depp resting their hands on each other’s legs.

The model posted the picture in response to a follower’s question about her “favorite actor.” At the time, Vlasova captioned the photo, “JD. He is a man who is incredibly talented and inspiring.”

However, it seems she wants to keep their romance private, as she has asked the media to stay out of her personal life amid swirling rumors about their relationship.

“Friends, I ask you to refrain from giving any interviews to journalists concerning me and my personal life. Your understanding and respect for my privacy will be appreciated,” Vlasova wrote in a post in her native Czech language, per Page Six.

The most recent sighting of the love birds was last week when they appeared to be traveling out of London Heliport. The two dressed casually for the trip while giving off a cozy vibe as they walked the tarmac together.

Depp wore a black long-sleeve shirt, with one sleeve rolled up to reveal his tattoos. He paired it with blue jeans and had a gray sweater stylishly tied around his waist. To complete the look, he added a red beanie, sunglasses, and red shoes.

Depp also had his hands occupied, holding an expensive guitar in his right hand and a black mug in his left.

Meanwhile, Vlasova wore a cropped black top that bared her toned belly and matched the outfit with loose-fitting trousers.

She completed her look with white sneakers, a necklace hanging outside her top, retro sunglasses, and a black handbag in her right hand.

Since Depp won the defamation trial against Heard, his life appears to be on the upswing.

He initially lost numerous endorsements and work opportunities after the “Aquaman” star hinted that he had abused her during their short-lived marriage.

Now, in recent months, the gates of Hollywood that were previously closed to him have swung wide open.

The actor made a comeback with the French-language biopic Jeanne du Barry, where he played the role of King Louis XV. The movie debuted to much critical praise at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

There are also rumors that Depp might collaborate with Disney to make another “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie.

Besides his resurgence as a Hollywood actor, Depp is also getting top directorial gigs.

The actor is reportedly set to direct a biopic in collaboration with veteran actor Al Pacino, which will follow the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.

In addition to his work in the film industry, the actor has gained some fame as a guitarist, performing at several gigs, including one at the renowned Royal Albert Hall.
