After playing two sold-out shows at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York on July 13th and 14th — his first shows in the US in 13 years — Buju Banton is taking his tour back on the road in late August for his first-ever arena tour in the United States. Banton will perform alongside the Shiloh Band, named after Banton’s 1995 album ‘Til Shiloh.
“The Overcomer Tour” kicks off in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 23rd; the Jamaican reggae and dancehall star will then hit arenas in cities like Tampa, Washington D.C., Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The tour concludes back in New York nearly three months after it begins with a November 17th show in Brooklyn.

Tickets for Buju Banton’s “The Overcomer Tour” will first be available via an artist pre-sale going down on Buju Banton’s official website on Wednesday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Afterwards, tickets go on-sale for the general public on Friday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Fans can also get tickets to Buju Banton’s 2024 tour via StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. While the exact setlist for Buju Banton’s 2024 tour is still unknown, he did bust out some of his greatest hits for his Long Island shows this month. Speaking to Billboard, Buju Banton discussed wanting to change up the setlists throughout “The Overcomer Tour.”
“My catalog is rather extensive, so to highlight one or two songs would be cheating a lot of people and will also be putting my foot in my mouth,” he joked. “I don’t want to suffer from that deadly disease — foot and mouth disease. You don’t want to catch it! I try to make the masses a part of what I am doing in whatever way I can. We also try to poll to find out what’s the favorite in each territory. It’s important. In modern times we have so much tools, back in the day we didn’t have all this at our fingertips. I want to do more.”
