THE cast of Downton Abbey headed down to Ripon Racecourse to film the third movie outing of the hit period drama.
The whole household were seen taking a trip to the horses in the scenes which were captured on an unusually warm day in North Yorkshire.

Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary and Laura Carmichael as her screen sister Lady Edith were seen at the trackside trying to shade thesemselves from the sunshine.
Meanwhile Hugh Bonnevile, reprising his role as the Earl of Granthan, was spotted having a flutter wearing traditional top hat and tails.
The upcoming movie, exclusively revealed by The Sun in March, started filming last month and is expected to go on general release next year.
It was announced that the sequel will be released worldwide on September 12, 2025.
Once again, Downton creator Julian Fellowes has penned the latest flick.
Simon Curtis who shot the last movie will direct.
The movies are a spin off of the popular TV series, which ran on ITV for six series from 2010-2015.
Hugh Bonneville, who plays Earl Robert Crawley in the historical drama, has already teased the third outing will be the “best yet.”
Speaking to Yahoo UK, he said there are “new elements” that will interest hardcore fans.
He added: “For my character, I think the usual [can be expected], which is that he’s a sort of dinosaur trying to be led into the future reluctantly, and then eventually he stumbles forward a bit.
“So, as always, there’s that rhythm of things changing with glacial slowness, and Robert finally accepting that things [are changing] — it’s time to move the story on, so to speak.
“It’s got the usual tropes, if you like, of thrills and spills in a very Downtown way – which means spilling a tea cup, pretty much!
“I think it’ll certainly be the best iteration of the film versions yet.”
