‘Friendly’ Jennifer Lopez Leaves Generous Tip At Ice Cream Shop

Amid the swirling rumors surrounding her marriage, Jennifer Lopez made a sweet gesture when she recently stopped by a local ice cream shop in East Hampton.

According to reports, the singer was “friendly” to the people at the shop, and she left a remarkably generous tip for the attendant.

Jennifer Lopez opted against marking the 4th of July holiday with her husband, Ben Affleck, and has been spending time in New York as sources suggest she might be relocating to the Big Apple soon.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer treated herself to a mini ice cream at her local fave A La Mode ice cream shop in East Hampton, where she left a generous tip for the attendant.

“She got a mini cone with sprinkles and was very friendly to everyone,” a source told Page Six before adding that the pop superstar left a $50 tip.

Lopez has been seen spending time in the Hamptons amid her rumored marital woes with actor Ben Affleck, although it remains unclear if she has permanently relocated there.

She was recently seen enjoying a bike ride with her longtime friend and voice coach, Stevie Mackey, and going shopping with her manager, Benny Medina.

“Good times, good friends, good wheels,” Mackey captioned an Instagram photo of himself and Lopez posing on matching bikes. “Life is like riding a bicycle. In order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.”

Lopez’s continuous stay in the Hamptons, New York, is seemingly raising eyebrows as Netizens wonder if she has permanently relocated to the city as speculated.

A source told In Touch that she would move to the East Coast if she divorces Affleck and that she might reunite with former fiancee Alex Rodriguez.

The insider explained that before rumors of her split from Affleck began to swirl, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer was “pushing for a full-time move to New York” and has now “decided to go ahead with that after the split.”

“She’ll probably keep a place in L.A. but she needs to get away from all the noise and the scrutiny on the West Coast,” the insider said.

Her children, Emme and Max, are another reason why she might consider moving to New York, as it would afford them a “fresh start.”

“There’s nothing to stop her from taking the kids and making a fresh start back in New York,” the insider added. “They’ve got plenty of schools back east, and she’s got a great social circle there.”

Lopez and Affleck’s marriage has been rocked by rumors of a split, with a source claiming it has been over for a long time.

An insider told Page Six that their marriage has been “over for months now,” but that the “Argo” actor is very protective of Jennifer.”

Another source told the Daily Mail that Lopez is “over” trying to salvage their marriage and has now realized that she can’t do any “more” to save her relationship with Affleck.

“Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse,” the source told the news outlet, further adding that Lopez is “shocked” by the bad press she’s been getting.

Lopez and Affleck publicly listed their marital home for a staggering $68 million. This bold decision comes as they attempt to offload the recently renovated 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom estate.

The 38,000-square-foot property, now on MLS, boasts numerous recent upgrades and improvements made over the past four months.

Though the couple initially tried to sell the mansion discreetly, they have now chosen to take it to the public market.

Affleck and Lopez, who got married in 2022, bought their Beverly Hills mansion in 2023  for just over $60 million after more than two years of searching.

Despite their efforts to find the perfect home, they’re now listing it for $68 million. However, they’re unlikely to make a significant profit due to the recent renovations and the mansion tax in L.A., which could eat into their potential gains from the sale.

The couple’s children, who are allegedly close, are now living apart due to their parents’ marital troubles.

Affleck’s kids, Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, are with him and Jennifer Garner in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, have mostly stayed with her.

The five children are now trying to help Lopez and Affleck reconcile. A source told the Daily Mail, “The kids think Jennifer and Ben are really, deeply in love, like soul mates, and they don’t want them to divorce.”

“They want them to work it out for better or for worse, like their vows said. And they do feel that the two should continue counseling and talking it out, even if it is painful. They feel like if they do and say the right things that there could be more peace,” the source added.
