The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) paid John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) a visit in the July 12 episode, so that led to some intriguing dialogue.
During that conversation, Jack brought up Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) since he’s glad Finn has been communicating with them.
Of course, Jack’s interest in Luna and Poppy is suspicious since there’s a good chance Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) isn’t really Luna’s biological father.
Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) recent dialogue was suspicious as well since she said Poppy was getting what she always wanted and that she was very lucky to be embraced by Bill.
It almost made it sound like Li rigged the DNA test that way – and she’d have a motive to do that if she thinks Jack is Luna’s father instead.
That brings us back to what Jack said to Finn in private.
We couldn’t help but notice how fondly Jack spoke about Poppy since he called her a gentle soul and insisted she deserved the very best in life.
Jack’s words were dripping with lingering love for Poppy if you ask us!
Between what Jack said and how he said it, it just feels like a done deal that Jack and Poppy had an affair all those years ago.
Jack told Finn how happy he was about Poppy’s bliss with Bill and the fact that Luna was Bill’s daughter.
It seemed like Jack was relieved to have the matter squared away, so that could be because he’s always suspected or known he’s Luna’s dad.
It’s easy to imagine Poppy admitting it to Jack back then and pushing him to keep his distance to preserve his marriage to Li.
Poppy used to talk about Luna being made from love, which never really fit for a one-night stand with Bill or a fling with rocker Tom Starr (Clint Howard).
It makes much more sense that Poppy fell hard for Li’s husband and that she buried what went down with Jack for sake of everyone involved.
Whatever the case, B&B had Jack waxing poetic about Poppy for a reason.
Jack slipped up by letting his real feelings shine through, so this feels like proof that he cheated with Poppy and fathered Luna.
That apparent news is important and will affect this whodunit storyline, especially if Jack and Li are involved in what happened to Tom or Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) in any way.
