Lottie Drynan, who is a size 12, and her bestie, Laura Adlington, size 26, are proving that body shape and size has no limits when it comes to looking and feeling good.

Posting on social media, the size-inclusive duo proudly showed off three stunning dresses, which are perfect for weddings this summer.

In a clip shared on both of their Instagram pages, Lottie explained: “Today we have got some unreal wedding guest dresses that will make everybody feel amazing.”

The fashion duo first of all tried on a stunning pink and red frock – the Twisted Wunder Ziggy Satin Maxi Dress – from Simply Be.

Whilst Lottie beamed that she “absolutely loved” the £69 dress, Laura explained: “I love it on you, I think you look phenomenal, I love the bat sleeves, really cute, quirky print.”

The fashionistas were thrilled to find that the dress had pockets, as Lottie added: “Literally the best dress I’ve ever seen in my life, love it.”

Next up, the content creators tried on the Sicily spot print black dress from Monsoon.

They were both very impressed with the £130 frock, as Laura beamed: “I love this. I feel like a movie star.”

Lottie compared the Great British Bake Off star to Audrey Hepburn, and praised the dress’ “beautiful quality.”

But Lottie then pointed out that for those “busty” women, you may want to size up.

The 5 hottest Spring dresses on the high street right now

For the final dress of the haul, the influencers modelled a beautiful blue floral dress, from Hope & Ivy, which you can normally buy from Simply Be but it is currently out of stock.

Laura shared: “This keeps going in and out of stock, so don’t hate us, but we just had to show it to you, because I think this might be one of the nicest dresses we’ve ever tried on.”

What’s the best style that suits everyone?

ACCORDING to the fashion pros at Fabulous, there’s a new style of dress that suits all body shapes.

Low-slung, dropped-waist silhouette styles have surged, thanks to the Noughties fashion trend that has swept the catwalks, social media and, of course, the high street.

First seen on the runways of luxury labels Molly Goddard and Jil Sander, the style typically cinches around the hip and pelvic area rather than the waist.

Now a plethora of more affordable options of the dress that suits a number of body shapes have dropped just as the sun starts to come out.

Clemmie Fieldsend, Fashion Editor, said: “There’s something so stylish about these dresses, and I love them.

“The simplicity of the top half teamed with the full skirt is like a sleeker and more grown-up tutu.

“I have a short torso so the dropped waist makes my body look longer, but, thankfully, the long skirt means your legs don’t look shorter.

“Plus it means I can tap into the low-waist trend without baring all in a pair of low-slung jeans.

“I know I’ll be living in mine all summer, paired with black sandals and sunnies, but for now all I need is a blazer slipped over the top and a closed-toe shoe and I’m ready to go.”

Meanwhile, Fashion Director, Tracey Lea Sayer, added: “I remember dropped-waist dresses from the 80s. I loved them then and I still love them again now!

“Forty years on from when they were first popular and I am not so sure they will be quite as flattering around my middle, because two kids and middle-aged spread later, my waist doesn’t exist any more.

“With a dress like this I can disguise my middle bit and still feel on trend for summer.”

Lottie then chimed in and described the fit of the dress as “gorgeous.”

Meanwhile, Laura hailed the frock as “perfection” and compared it to a painting.

How to look chic on a budget

Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.

  1. Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection of fashion-forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
  2. There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
  3. Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse for not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.

FASHION FANS REACT

The ‘same dress, different bodies’ Instagram reel has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 23 hours ago, but has quickly racked up 15k likes and over 470 comments.

Fashion fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the stunning dresses.

One person said: “They are beautiful!”

Why the latest fashion trends are a disaster for real women’s bodies

From bum-skimming micro shorts to flesh-baring blouses, it seems the “new-in

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend explains why she, as a size 10, is struggling to add this season’s latest trends to her wardrobe.

“If if I was to wear the season’s styles, I’d look stupid.

My job as Fashion Editor is to know what’s hot and what’s not, what’s in shops and what people are wearing. But this season, stores seem flooded with looks I find unwearable — and I’m sure many more ‘normal’ people do, too.

For example, I wouldn’t be caught dead in the love handles-baring low-rise jeans that are dominating the High Street.

And I recently saw a picture of the stunning Sydney Sweeney in a pair — with boyish-looking boxers poking out the top, and matching bandeau crop top. Despite her beauty, I thought the White Lotus star looked daft.

And I had to ask myself: ‘What reinforcements has she got holding up her boobs?’

The other thing irritating me about fashion is, if it’s not open at the back, it’s open at the front.

While I’m all for body confidence and wearing what you want, there’s no way I’m standing on a packed train, or visiting the office, with my stomach, bra and boobs on show. I’d hate to put anyone off their corn flakes.

Right now, Zara is the worst offender. When its models aren’t crouching awkwardly on top of kitchen stoves they are wearing crocheted flared trousers and spaghetti-strapped sequin crop tops.

I’m a 33-year-old M&S woman. From underwear to outerwear, I love them and look to them every week to see what’s trending.

They’re really nailing waistcoats at the moment. Simple and stylish, they’ve got them in cotton, linen and a rainbow of colours.”

At the same time, many Instagram users were particularly impressed with the polka dot dress.

One fashionista beamed: “OMG the polka dot is amazing on you both, one of the best I’ve seen on you.”

A second wrote: “Love watching these!! The black polka dot one is my fave.”

Whilst someone else explained: “They all look AMAZING on the both of you but that spotty number had me SWOOOONING!”
