Celine, 56, drew huge crowds as she stepped outside in New York, stopping for photos before hopping into a black car.

The Canadian star was accompanied by security, who kept a watchful eye as Celine’s fans cheered and snapped photos.

Celine opted for chic street style for her outing, with her hair pulled back into a neat bun and her eyes hidden behind huge sunglasses.

She added a touch more glamor with golden jewelry, sporting huge hoop earrings along with a sparkling necklace, rings, and watch.

In the unlikely circumstance that fans didn’t recognize her, she wore her own name, wearing a “Celine Paris” t-shirt from the eponymous luxury fashion house.

She paired the designer tee with skinny dark blue jeans, cinching them in with a tan belt.

Finishing her look, Celine wore a chain-strap purse over her shoulder, and added some height with black and white open-toe heels.

The star looked to be in high spirits as she was surrounded by fans, smiling and waving while posing for photographers.

SHE’S BACK

Celine’s outing came after she admitted she hid away from the public due to the impact of her health battle.

The star revealed her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome on Instagram in December 2022.

Celine was forced to cancel her world tour due to Stiff Person Syndrome – a rare progressive neurological condition – which is incurable.

The star recently spoke to The Today Show star Hoda Kotb about the illness, and shared that she stayed inside for 4 years after beginning to feel symptoms in 2008.

“I can’t go and see my kids play golf. What if those people were supposed to see me on stage two years ago and they’re like, ‘But how come she’s watching her kid and she’s canceling shows? She’s not that sick.’

“So I didn’t want people to see me because if they see me, I’m supposed to be fine.

What is Stiff Person Syndrome?

Stiff-Person Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that progresses over time.

The condition causes pain and muscle spasms that worsen over the years.

According to Contact A Family, the condition is characterized by “progressive stiffness and painful spasms in the back and limbs, which are often triggered by touch, noise or anxiety, and exacerbated by movement.”

There is currently no cure, but death from the condition is rare.

Strong spasms in the chest can sometimes cause difficulty breathing.

“If I go outside, I’m supposed to be onstage. So I stayed inside. So four years, inside,” she revealed.

KEEPING FAITH

Celine’s documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, is set to be released on Prime Video on June 25th.

In the trailer for the film, the star shared more details about her she’s coping with her condition.

Some clips from the trailer showed her working with a physiotherapist, and spending time outside with her family.

Celine also sparked hope that she might return to music, after crying when she admitted how much she missed being on stage.

“If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl,” she said, before returning to a music studio at the end of the clip.
