Madison Pettis is a very successful actress. She started her career when she was young, and appeared in The Game Plan, Life With Boys, and Cory In The House. She captioned the post, “Sky’s the limit.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Madison Pettis stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
Pettis shared some of her skincare secrets with People. She says that she deals with acne and looked to makeup artists to help her. “I felt more comfortable on camera because I was working with hair and makeup artists on sets,” she says. “I felt lucky that I had professionals guiding me on what was best for my skin, how to take care of it after wearing a lot of heavy makeup on set and [teaching me] the best ways to cover up my acne.”
Pettis tells People that she knows what works for her skin. She makes sure to keep her skincare routine simple. “It doesn’t love when I try a bunch of new things,” Pettis explained. “I’ve learned that less is more — if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’m a pretty simple two-or-three-steps kind of girl.”
Pettis talked about her career in an interview with People. She says that she doesn’t want to pressure herself to be a certain way. “Growing up as a child actor, there is a lot of pressure to be perfect. People see you in this childlike way and then, once you’re an adult and you start doing more adult things — [portraying] adult roles, dressing differently — they can kind of be like, ‘We wanted you to be a child forever.’ I think it’s important that people that grew up as child actors get the space to be able to evolve alongside their fans that are the same age.”
Pettis has learned to embrace her natural hair. She tells People that doing this helped her acting career. “I never booked a single audition with straight hair, which I think just is a testament of embracing your natural features and what makes you special. A lot of people say I’m one of the first they saw having curly hair on screen. It made them want to embrace it, and that literally means the world to me.”
In an interview with Composure Magazine, Pettis shared the best advice she’s ever received. “My mom reminds me not to compare myself to anyone else, which is great advice whether you’re a public figure or not. It’s easy to look around and wish you had what someone else has, or do what someone else is doing. But we are all on our own path! It’s important to appreciate each step in your journey.”
