Kris Jenner and Faye Resnick are reflecting on their friend Nicole Brown Simpson, sharing their last conversations before her tragic murder.

Nicole Brown and O.J. Simpson were married from 1985 to 1992, during which they had two children, Sydney and Justin. Over time, O.J. reportedly became increasingly abusive towards Nicole, even pleading “no contest” to assault charges. This abuse ultimately led Nicole to file for divorce in 1992.

On June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found murdered in Los Angeles. O.J. Simpson was acquitted in the 1995 criminal trial but found liable in a 1997 wrongful death lawsuit.

In the upcoming Lifetime documentary, The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, the 68-year-old star of The Kardashians and the 66-year-old interior designer share their poignant final conversations with their late friend before her death in 1994.

Despite alleged domestic abuse at the hands of her husband, Nicole was concerned with Resnick’s sobriety in her final days. “Right before Nicole died, two days before, I relapsed. She put me into treatment. I was stressed out beyond belief,” Resnick recalled in the docuseries per TMZ.

In the days leading up to Nicole’s passing, Jenner was dedicated to ensuring their friend received the help she needed.

“Nicole said, ‘Okay, we are going to go visit Faye and make sure that somebody’s there for her every day.’ So she made a schedule for us,” Jenner recalled.

The reality star added, “I remember, it was Nicole’s day, and Nicole and I spoke. She said, ‘Faye’s having a good day, I’m leaving. Your day is tomorrow.’ That was the last time I spoke to her.”

Resnick highlighted that Simpson’s dedication to helping her improve was one of her final gifts.

“She loved me. She wanted me to be healthy,” Resnick said.

Kris Jenner and her first husband, Robert Kardashian, were very close to the model, who was 35 at the time of her death, and her former spouse, O.J. Simpson.

The documentary’s release follows closely on the heels of O.J. Simpson’s passing from prostate cancer less than two months ago. He was 76 years old at the time of his death.
