Charly Bliss have set a 2024 North American tour in support of their forthcoming album, Forever, and further previewed the release with a new single called “Calling You Out.”
After kicking off on September 5th in Washington, DC, the tour will feature stops in cities including Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin before wrapping up in Philadelphia on October 10th. See the full itinerary below.
A Live Nation pre-sale for select dates begins on Thursday, May 30th (use access code SOUNDCHECK) will precede the general on-sale on Friday, May 31st via Ticketmaster.
“Calling You Out” recounts vocalist/guitarist Eva Hendricks’ experience with “falling in love with someone wonderful,” she explained in a statement. “I didn’t know how to not fall into the same bullshit that was part of all my previous relationships — namely jealousy. I wasted a lot of time at the beginning trying to poke holes, to see if it was all for real. I think I was trying to protect myself, I’ll find the catch before the catch finds me! But there was no catch.”
The single arrives alongside a music video directed by Adam Kolodny, which found inspiration in the Beastie Boys’ 1989 “Shake Your Rump” video and Wong Kar-wai’s 1995 film Fallen Angels. Watch it below.
Forever is out August 16th via Lucky Number and features the lead single “Nineteen.” Pre-orders are ongoing.
