Melodic-hardcore veterans Darko have shared a lyric video for their pummelling, political track ‘AUX II’.
The blistering, riff-laden single is taken from the band’s latest EP ‘Greyscale’, and is inspired by “the boomer fear of Greta Thunberg”.
Released earlier this month via Lockjaw Records, the EP also features the brutal ‘Aggro’, a track that sees the band vent their frustrations at the stifling nature of the modern working world.
Speaking on ‘AUX II’, the band’s vocalist Tom West has shared:
“We need Herculean political courage to limit the devastation of climate change.
“Terrifyingly, a spineless cabal of vulture capitalists have been elected as our saviours. It’s our duty to signal-boost principled activists, not to condescend or despise them for holding a mirror up to us.”
